With a total weight of 4 lbs (1.9 kg), the Transvideo Handheld Mini Prompter is ideal for crews on-the-go or for a remote controlled newsroom. It can be set-up handheld, on tripods or pedestals. Very light, it will fit DV cameras, as well as Broadcast or Film cameras.

The Transvideo 16/9 Rainbows or 6" Cinemonitor II are mounted on the front of the camera by means of 15mm diameter support rods. The Prompter Mini Housing mounts on the same rods and holds the 6.6" x 6.6" semi-reflective glass.

The Handheld Mini Prompter System can be used in combination with existing follow-focus systems as well as with any accessory that fits on the 15mm mini-rods. While Transvideo Handheld Prompter-Mattebox System allows the use of filters, the Handheld Mini Prompter is much lighter and more economical.

The Transvideo 6" Cinemonitor II offers left and right image flips as well as the possibility to mount the monitor upside down: necessary features to view the text displayed in the mirror. The 5.8" 16/9 and 6.5" 16/9 Rainbow monitors may be special ordered with horizontal image flip instead of vertical flip.

Transvideo two 16/9 Rainbows and 6" Cinemonitor II can also be mounted on the top of the camera to be used as color viewfinders. All 3 monitors are designed to work outside in full sunlight without a hood.

Versatile, the Transvideo monitors can also be equipped with a wireless receiver and battery back making it ideal as a wireless client monitor. Transvideo Handheld Mini Prompter system uses the same equipment for different tasks: this translates into greater savings, as well as smaller cases and lower shipping cost. The entire system (monitor, prompter, case) packs in a single case weighing under 10 lbs (5 Kg).

Transvideo Handheld Mini Prompter system mounts on Film & Video cameras equipped with 15mm mini-rods. A variety of camera plates with 15mm rods are available from Transvideo for Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Ikegami, JVC, Thomson and BTS cameras.
